IIn the near future we will be migrating to a new version of EMSPro called Tablet PCR. This move is to keep up with the changes in technology as well as meeting the PA DOH requirement to submit NEMSIS (National EMS Information System) data. If you would like to learn more click here NEMSIS.

This system is very similar to EMSPro that you are use to using to complete your PCR’s, there are some changes in the way is looks and sorry to say there are more fields to complete. The increase in fields is mainly as direct result of the NEMSIS elements that we must report on. Every attempt is being made to default the common fields to ease the migration. Below are 2 links to videos, Tablet PCR and Web PCR.

Tablet PCR is the recommend way to complete your PCR’s. This application will be physically installed on the computers in your station and/or vehicles. Unlike EMSPro calls will be pulled into the mobile units if you are assigned to them or they have been returned to you for QA or other reasons. As you watch the video, keep in mind this application is very customizable and there will be some differences but the flow and operation will be the same.

Web PCR is mainly for administration use but can be used to create PCR’s with some differences and a very basic look at the moment. In a future software release from the vendor the look will be the same as Tablet PCR. Web PCR use will be at the discretion of the agency you are associated with.
