Penndel Middletown Emergency Squad is taking applications for part time employment

All Candidates for Employment
At least 21 years of age;
Completion of IS 100, 200 and NIMS 700, 800
Current Pennsylvania Drivers License, EVOC and EMSVO.
Current background checks Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Federal Background Check and Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check

Paramedic’s Interested in Employment
Valid Pennsylvania Paramedic Certification;
Current unrestricted Medical Command in the Commonwealth of PA;
Current certification in BCLS, ACLS, PALS and/or PEPP and/or APLS;

EMT’s Interested in Employment
An active provider at a Bucks County 911 service with a minimum of 2 years full time experience and at least 50% of the calls being as part of an ALS unit crew;
Valid Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Technician Certification;
Current certification in BCLS, ACLS for EMT’s;
Candidates that meet the criteria will need to successfully complete the following:
Successfully complete written examination evaluating knowledge of Pennsylvania Bureau of EMS Basic Life Support Protocols and;
Successfully complete skills evaluation for the Emergency Medical Technician based on the NR-EMT skills.
